Profile: Jan Lee serves as the Topic Editor for Judaism with the international publication Suite101.com. Her articles on Jewish religion and culture have ranged from the halacha pertaining to the celebration of St. Valentine’s Day, to the contemporary resurgence of the “hidden” Jewish communities of Germany and Spain. She has also written for the U.S. magazine, Voices of Conservative/Masorti Judaism and the Jewish Independent newspaper in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
